Author's Notes I was very apprehensive about writing this. For a few reasons, actually, one being that I had never written dark fantasy before in my life. Maybe a one shot or a single chapter but not an entire based book.
Originally a Camp NaNoWriMo project (reached my goal the first time) when I was fifteen and I have unpublished and reposted this story quite a few times. Recently, something made me take a look at the Salem Witch Trials and a few topics I will leave out for the sake of avoiding political debates and remarks.
The story started flowing quite smoothy, and truthfully, I was a little shocked. When have I ever managed to do that?
So, yes, this is one of the few stories I would think that I'm proud of. Before you dive into this story, though, no, I am not writing from the perspective of a villain like with The Huntress but a character who carries the feeling of guilt so the prologue is a little... Dark and misleading. So, I apologize.
