Half-organic. Half-mechanical. Completely vengeful. Joaquin "Quiche" Herrera finds it hard not to conflate how he identifies, but he's long since come to terms with who he is... the word frightens him to say: Cyborg. Reckless, rusted, and busted, our protagonist benefits from veteran discounts and survives the outside world with a red eye for justice and a skull as hard as titanium. All for one man responsible: Gui Bolsonaro. Gui was a lofty U.S. green beret overseeing a military black project that fired the man. He became a "ghost." The former green beret's face haunts him every waking moment; ghostly voices haunt Joaquin as if his brain was hacked into... In desperation, Joaquin goes to the FBI with all the dirt he has through years of sleepless research. Turns out his amphetamine-fueled nights were fruitful. His "Ghost" was pinged long ago due to being tied to several crimes across the U.S. and South America with the title of CEO of BlueMoon, a private military contractor. Joaquin joins forces with Martina, a dorky field agent with drug cartel-dismantling experience, to arrest their Ghost as a domestic terrorist. The journey, however, takes them down a twisted, jagged road of connections to the past that conjures up more ghosts than they'd want.
