All Laurie Danson wants is to escape his toxic, queerphobic, abusive family. He dreams of getting away from all of them someday and actually working through his issues and trauma. But he knows that he can't. He has to stay, for his younger siblings. His sense of duty stops him from doing anything about his life. That is, until his younger brother kills their mom. Suddenly, everything in Laurie's life turns upside down. He doesn't know what to think or what to do anymore. He feels completely lost in his newfound freedom, and at the same time more caged than he's ever been. Can anyone escape this horrible family or this horrible house? This is a story of a queer, autistic trans boy written by a queer, autistic trans boy.
