Hello! Here I am again, writing another essay :o. It feels so weird; I mean, when I first created my account, I dubbed myself "TheEssayElf," because, well, at the time I was writing my Sokeefe essay, and I thought my main contribution to the Fandom would be a lot more essays.

Then I started writing fanfiction (which has been amazing!), and... well, it's history from there XD. But after writing two fanfictions, "Behind the Green Door" and "The Flame that Never Dies," I'm SO ready to be writing a KotLC essay again! While I'll always love writing fanfictions, an essay is what got me started on this Fandom, so I'll always have an appreciation for them.

Okay, I'm done with the sappy rambling. Lemme explain this essay a little bit:

For one, this might be a controversial one. No matter your opinion, PLEASE be respectful to those in the comments who may disagree with it. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at ME; I can take it. But I won't tolerate rude comments directed toward someone who is simply stating their opinion.

Sorry that sounded so dramatic XD.

Secondly, I cannot take credit for this idea. @SunsetPanakes requested I write this essay, so they are the one you should thank. I also want to make clear that the content of this essay does not reflect SunsetPanakes' opinion; rather, it reflects mine, and mine only (so again, if you disagree, be mad at ME).

Thirdly, whenever I mention the term "Mary Sue," I am talking about a poorly-written character, not a powerful female character. (I believe there is a difference.)

Okay, that's all! XD Sorry, I know that was a lot.

Happy Reading!
