HYBE Labels x BeLift Lab's new girl group survival program 'R U Next?' has released a music video for its brand song "R.U.N."
The song, which officially dropped on June 12 KST, is performed by songwriter-singet-actress Miyoung and was produced by Bang Si Hyuk, HYBE producer Hiss Noise, and producers Tommy Brown and Mr. Franks, who previously worked on Justin Bieber's "Holy (feat. Chance The Rapper)" and Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next."
"R.U.N" is a drum-and-bass pop song where Miyoung sings about girls using their own ambition to run full speed toward happiness. The music video, shot in a portrait style, features actual contestants that will appear on the program.
Meanwhile, 'R U Next?' is a rigorous survival program challenging its contestants in a total of seven competition rounds, putting them to the test to determine which trainees will earn a debut spot in the next global K-Pop sensation team.
