Subhadra, the newly wedded daughter in law of indraprastha chose to end her life when she heard some derogatory comments about her from hand maidens of queen Draupadi.
Of course, that wasn't suicide as she adopted a way on her own unlike Goddess Sat...

Though Arjun had cheered up Shrotaswi yet she kept wondering about the demon later. Her concern was why the demon was insisting her to accept his challenge. She couldn't have a word with that demon on their first encounter as her companions were too scared to stand at the place even for a second.
She had to meet the demon again. She had to confront him. At least, she needed to get some hint about his sudden appearance and strategic moves.
Being determined, she decided to sneak out of the palace in night in search of the demon. She wrapped a shawl around herself so that none could recognize her as she was on a secret mission, mostly a prohibitory mission in views of her parents.
She was about to go to the same place to call the demon out, but the demon appeared on her way, cancelling rest of her journey.
"You don't have to go far, Princess. I have come to end your search," the demon, Maha Shoshak, announced his arrival in a deep voice.
"You must have been waiting for her. So, I am even standing in front of you, to end your wait," Shrotaswi wasn't ready to let the encounter proceed without a counter attack on demon's statement of he being searched by her.
"I appreciate your courageous move. I would haven't minded if you waited till morning to search me instead of spoiling your night," a mocking laugh rang in air, challenging calmness of Shrotaswi before Maha Shoshak could challenge her in real.
"What do you want from me? Why had you come to me on that day?" Her sharp glare was projected towards him.
"I had declared my motive, hadn't I? As a kshatriya princess you should accept my challenge," he reminded and challenged her, indirectly.
"Arrogant people indulge themselves in unnecessary war, and I am not the one. So, I would like to know you reason behind challenging me," she had exercised a good control over her anger against his provoking.
"If you don't wish for a duel then accept my proposal of being my wife," he had planned his strategy. Which was why he stood confident with a smirk.
"Shut up, you mean creature! I misunderstood you as a decent warrior when you had challenged me instead of launching direct attack on me. Your true colour is something different, and you have shown it," her control broke down letting her anger come out through her fierce eyes.
"I accept your challenge, and I promise to turn you into ashes soon," her declaration brought a victorious smile on his face.
"Let's see that! I am not fighting with you now. Consider it as a concession from my side before crumbling your peace. Have a last peaceful night, Princess!" Another chain of evil laughter pierced the air before his magical disappearance.
