Prologue

The moon in the sky is exactly like it was ten years ago. Its alignment to the horizon across the sea is still the same as I first saw it. The sound of the ocean waves are still bewildering and controlling. Nothing changed in this place within a span of ten years.

Except for the fact that I am alone.

I remembered the very first night she brought me here, it was also the very first time our lips have met and it is by far, the most enchanting moment of my life. Her heart was the kindest and her touch was very magical.

But she is not with me tonight. And all I have is this simple yet the most significant thing in my life- a notebook, which took all the weight of the world out of my arms and changed me for the rest of my life.

I am Mark. And I fell in love ten years ago, and actually never fell out of it.
