Tyler

As I took her by the hands, I gazed into her eyes and slowly she began to lean forward. Was she wanting a kiss? Oh no! What am I going to do? I've never kissed anyone before. What if I do something wrong? Would she leave? Would she laugh? She got closer and closer and I began to close my eyes and our lips only inches away then.....

Ring. Ring

"Ahh," I yelled as the class bell rang for my next class.

"Mister Lucas, so nice of you to wake up." some kids started to laugh as they left the room.

"Sorry Misses S. I didn't sleep well last night," I spoke as I noticed the drool I left on my desk.

"It's okay Tyler, but try to go to bed earlier," she smiled and turned away.

As I walked out of class and headed towards my locker I saw her. She was so beautiful, breathtaking, I simply could not explain it. I couldn't help but to wobble over. My legs felt weak but as I reached my locker I managed a slight smile.

"Hi... uh.. Ayla." she smiled back, and my hands began to sweat.

"Hey," she said just as quickly as she closed her locker and walked away. I couldn't help myself and let out a big sigh. Just a "hey" why not something to grab her attention and make her stay. What a fool I am, she'll never like me.

"Hey, Casey," she smiled at the tall jock who was holding an athletic bag in front of her next class. I could hear the flirtatious, and pep in her voice, but after she spoke all he did was ignore her and focused on his track team mate. I stood there in anger thinking how unfair it was. All she ever did was give him all of her undying attention and practically worship him and he ignored her like if she was invisible. Like if she wasn't important to him at all. That jerk!

Ring.!

Oh no! The warning bell before the tardy bell. That meant I had a minute to get to English. If I was late one more time I would never hear the end of it. I ran so fast that I almost tripped on another student through the halls. Luckily I wasn't stopped so I got to class right as the bell rang. Mr. B. was nowhere in sight so I sat with no worries.. I thought maybe about paying attention to this lesson to get my mind off of Ayla and that jerk but I picked the most boring lesson to tune into and my mind just slowly drifted into thoughts about Ayla..
