You and me - Chris Sturniolo

Before Christmas

( sorry it's a big time jump. Your in present time now)

-2 days before Christmas-

I wake up to the scent of my warm vanilla candle lingering through my room and take a deep breath in admiring the smell

I look around my room at all my Christmas decor and and get out of my bed then side on my ugg slippers

I pull off a fuzzy blanket from my bed and wrap it around my shoulders

I walk down the stairs of my silent house and look at my still unwrapped presents for the triplets

I set my blanket in a heap on the couch

I grab my scotch tape, some different wrapping papers, and scissors then sit at the pile of presents thinking about which one to wrap first

I grab one of the present I got for Madi, it's a new hoodie that she has been wanting for months but could never get.

I wrap it up and tape it and set it aside with a name tag

I wrap the remaining presents I have for everyone

(More for Madi, and a few for the triplets each)

I put them all nicely under the tree and put away my other stuff

I light another candle on the island scented pink sands

I turn all the lights off except the kitchen light dimmed a little bit

Me: good morning

Chris: I'm asleep

Me: want me to come over

Chris: yes

Me: give me a minute
Read 8:22am

I go up to my room and change into a pair of black sweats and a black hoodie with fuzzy socks

I put on my insulated crocs and put on a hat with a fuzz ball on top

I put my phone in my pocket and go back downstairs

I walk outside and put my hands in my pockets to hide them from the cold air

I walk up to the door and quietly come inside shutting the cold air out behind me

I take off my hat and set it on the coat hanger

I walk through the house and don't see anybody, must be sleeping in

I go towards Chris's room and he's laying in his chest asleep

I put my phone on his bed side table and lay down on his back

He groans a little from the pressure and I hold onto his hand

"B?" He says in a scratchy morning voice

"It's me" I whisper

I roll off of him and he turns over toward me

"Good morning" I smile "good morning" he responds and pulls me closer giving me a kiss

I bury my head into his chest and we sit and talk for an hour or so

-Next day - Christmas eve -

I walk downstairs of my house and grab a Christmas cookie I made Chris for a video

I take a bite and climb into my couch with Chris

He unpauses the Christmas movie he chose and I snuggle into him

He pulls a blanket over us and holds onto my hand

-later

7:33pm

"Can I open a present" Chris begs

I laugh and nod

He runs over to the tree and grabs one of his gifts

He brings back a small box and sits across from me on the couch

He shakes the gift and then rips off the wrapping paper and opens the box

He pulls out a hat and two beanies

"Oh my God I love these" he puts on a beanie

I smile and he puts the other two hats in the box and set the on the floor

He pulls me by my ankle to make me lay fully down and climbs over me the lays down on my stomach

I play with his hair curling it around my fingers, and falling down again

I lay my hands down and Chris groans

I go back to running my hands through his hair and scratch his arms that are draped beside me

Eventually he falls asleep, and I do shortly after

- Morning -

I wake up and stretch out but Chris isn't with me

I get out of bed and walk downstairs

"Did you bring me to bed?" I see Chris and ask

He nods

"Merry christmas" he smiles and I come and hug him

"Merry christmas" I repeat

I look at the tree and there's more presents underneath

"Open your presents" he says

I sit in front of the tree and pick out a present that looks tall

I unwrap it and open the box and there's a white hydro flask inside

"I've been wanting one of these forever" I smile and pull it out

Chris grabs a present with his name on it and opens it up and smiles when he notices is says lyrical lemonade

He points at a specific present and tells me to open it

I pull it out from under the tree an it's a small thin box

I unwrap it and it's a phone case with the Pepsi logo printed all over the back of it

I smile and switch it onto my phone

"I love it" I show him and he gets another present

We continue opening presents and then we meet up with everyone else and open all of our stuff up together

Chris decied to stay home for the night and I just wanted to sleep in my bed so I stayed at my house and fell asleep at 11pm
