This story is written for the unsung heroes of the Fall of the Dutch East Indies in 1942, and World War II as a whole.

Coming soon - March, 1942. The Japanese have conquered most if not all of Southeast Asia - save for one island, Java, in the Dutch East Indies. As the Allies scramble all resources to hold this vital and final stronghold, Lieutenant Francis Drebbel, a mixed-race (Indo) aviator of the East Indies Air Force, and his fellow pilots must hold the line at all costs, flying the notoriously unreliable Brewster Buffalo fighter plane. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Jack De Souza, a staff officer with 2nd Bn. 131st Field Artillery, 36th Infantry Division, a Texas Army National Guard unit deployed to the island, realizes the hopelessness of the situation.
