Felicia
The commotion lasted the night where the Duke and Alexander tried to coerce Helena to eat but she shunned everyone, not letting them open the door. She wouldn't budge and had her doors locked. They were panicking for their precious girl.
At some point earlier, Alexander told the duke that I must have done something for Helena to react like this. He was trying to paint me bad again in front of the Duke who almost believed in him if not for my sharp mouth.
That moron thinks he can blame me everything.
The Duke has grown tired over Helena's antics that he practically yelled outside her door and left, just like that while Alexander remained persistent yet exhausted. Well, that's on them now.
But I'm quite perplexed with Helena's behavior. She suddenly turned mad over something but when confronted, she ignored me and decided to be so upset about it that neither the Duke or Alexander could coax her into eating her dinner.
But that's not my problem anymore. As midnight reach it's full potential, I was already outside, swinging the sword that I have, the real deal sword that I took out from the church. I already did my laps and build my core. I didn't want to wait for Elias to start because we spar immediately whenever he arrives.
But he sure is late. He's never been later than the usual meet up. Nevertheless, that didn't stop me from ever practicing. But then, a thought crosses my mind. This weapon can change depending on the user's wishes, why not turn it into something?
I stopped for a second and looked at the target range just across the field. It sure is far but I wonder if this magical weapon can hit it? I thought of a bow, and just like that it did turned into a bow. It still gets me how this weapon is so powerful.
"I don't need an arrow for this... Right?" I asked myself as I positioned, my fingers dancing on the string as I casually pulled it, a light flitters, turning itself into an arrow that amazed me. With an aim acoross the training ground, I let go of the strings, waiting for the magic.
In a speed of light, it travelled fast and destroyed the target, like a bomb detonating. There were no sounds that echoed, as it just suddenly disappeared and turned into dust. My mouth gasp, shocked that it can make something vaporized and into dust.
"Holy shit." I managed to spit out as I look into the bow in my hand. It would have been fun if I could somewhat turn it into something like a cold yet smooth steel, with a grip to hold steady and a mechanism to trigger something—like an iron molded like a ball out of it's mouth and when it hits the target, it will not produced a loud scream, but rather it hits and remains inside the body of the target.
But unfortunately, that's something that is hard to believe. I'm thinking of a powerful machinery that would definitely overpower a sword and a bow. But then again, I looked at my hand and saw that the weapon I had earlier, changed into something that I was describing vaguely.
"It just gave me... What's this?" I asked as I have no clue over what I just created. Holy shit, what in the world is this in my hand? I studied it's features, it was quite heavy yet not too burdening. It has a trigger, probably to pull i guess?
It has a cylinical feature, to which I assume that if I pull the trigger, something will come out of it. But then again, I questioned myself as to what kind of monstrosity did I just made because despite looking small, it looks very powerful.
As if my hand knew how to use, I aimed it directly at the target that I just ruined earlier from casually using a bow. Without further due, I pulled the trigger and it prompt its mechanism where something just came out at the end of this weapon, blowing up silently the target as it past through.
