Estella's Pov

As I sat down with my biological family for dinner which will technically be my first time ever having a meal with them in my memory

Though I don't trust them fully I can't seem to find a single reason as to why they'll ever abandon me.
They are pretty rich if the private plane and this big mansion is something to go by

Maybe they are gender biased ? I mean I  don't have any other female family member as far as I know

I truly want to discover the reason for being so far from my biological family but looking at their happy expressions I couldn't bring the subject up

If they are faking all the care and happiness they're truly Oscar worthy actors I'll give them that . Except Rhysand who's been constantly scowling since the introduction

I was made to sit adjacent from Robert with Cyrus beside me and Leo in front of me

Even while sitting across me Rhysand has been scrutinizing me as if he'll summon my genetical anncestry out of nowhere.
Dude of you were to summon my anncestry I don't think it'll be much different considering we're biologically related and all

I scoff internally on that

At that moment some servants enter the dining room and serve everyone their portions for which everyone said a little thanks including me . They took their leave

The food definitely taste heavenly additionally with my hunger and pregnancy its literally paradise
As for the silence , well I am way too familiar throughout my life because nobody cares if everyone participate in conversations in foster home and worse kids get punished for speaking unnecessary,  I learned long ago enjoy the peace that silence gives me

The only sound in the room were of cuttelery and of occasional throat clearing of Robert and Cyrus probably to decide who'll strike up a conversation
Goodluck to them 

" So estella how was your school back in Ohio ?" Robert asked me

" just usual school stuff" I replied casually.

Which was true I was never the socializing type so I never truly had any friends or it could be because I didn't had parents and people were wary of me being a bad influence to their kids ? Who knows ?

" what is your favorite subject Nova?" Cyrus asked again

" I like all the subjects, but I'll pick science and English over others any day " I shrugged

" we'll enroll you in the school where twins go. I'm sure you'll like their science clubs " Robert told me

Even though I would've been ecstatic for the science club,  I don't think going to a new school while being pregnant will be a good idea at all..
Not only i will be the new student
On top of that pregnant? Yikes I can't even imaging the bullying and taunting that'll happen to me
NO THANK YOU

" Uhm.. I actually wanted to continue my studies online this year. " i tried to speak as confidentiality as much one can under the gaze of six intimidating men one can

" Any specific reason behind this ?" Robert asked giving me a confusing look

Ahh.. well you see Robert I am kind of pregnant... and don't want to go to an entirely new school with a watermelon sized belly and tell everyone that you know how not everything happens according to what someone want or give permission to right ? So yeah.... I didn't want this baby .... but I totally do now and blah blah blah .

And ofcourse I didn't say all these to Robert.... it'll be kind of trauma dumping on him. And even though I'll have to tell him eventually,  I wan to get to know them better before I drop this bomb on them .
You know having a reunion with your teen daughter who also happens to be pregnant is not on anybody wishlist for sure

But before I can answer rhysand decides to interrupt with  his lovely and kind words

"

so what ? You think you're better than us to attend school normally?

I just look at him dumbfounded.  Because seriously whats gotten up his ass that he's being such a asshole to me? I haven't even spoken more than a sentence and he's already speaking to me like I killed his dog which I obviously will never do but hey how wil he ever know that ?

" Rhysand behave " Leonardo reprimand him in a stern voice

And because I've never needed anybody else to protect me I'll do fine now also

" I don't think I am any better than anyone else rhysand. But am already in advanced classes for all my subjects. I just wanted to join some STEM clubs to enhance my portfolio " I reply him with a smile

Everybody else on the table kind of had a proud look except Rhysand who looked even more annoyed

"That's wonderful Nova , I'll definitely look into it for you. And don't take any pressure for your portfolio . You can even join any other activity you're interested in " Robert answered for me

I just nodded and we all continued with our dinner

After dinner everybody went to their room or somewhere I don't know

I was pretty much exhausted from everything that happened so I doze off instantly the moment my head touched the pillow
