𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲: Mariah Alicia Jo Jackson
𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗻: August 29, 1958
She is a grammy-award winning singer, song-writer, and actress. She is known fot being one of the best entertainers of the 20th century.
She is the ninth child of the Jackson family and Michael Jackson's twin sister. She has released 11 studio albums. Her self-titled album ALICIA released in april of 1984. The album sold over 3million copies and debuted at no.1 on the charts and remained for three weeks.
In 1985, Jackson won her first six grammy's in only one night, the first being for Album of the year. Later that year she released her second studio album THE ONLY LOVE. The album charted at no.2 but moved up to no.2 the following week and remained for two weeks.
In 1986, she left her last record label A&M records and signed with Epic records. There, she released her third studio album ADDICTION then 2 more the following years.
In 1987, she made history as the first African-American female to win the grammy for ALBUM OF THE YEAR three times in a row for three years.
In 1992, Jackson was for her role as Ayanna Malone in the 1993 film POETIC JUSTICE alongside her sister Janet Jackson and co-star Tupac Shakur.
In 1993, Mariah reunited with her brother's Michael, Jackie, Randy, and Jermaine for her iconic Jackson tribute performance.
In 1994, she was casted for her Iconic role as Vanessa Jackson in the film WAITING TO EXHALE which released in 1995. The same year, she won the legand grammy award just a year after her brother, Michael Jackson.
In 1996, she the award for OUTSTANDING ACTRESS IN MOTION PICTURE, for the same role.
In 1997, she released her sixth studio HEARTBREAKER which sold over 5million copies world wide and is one of the best selling albums to date. It charted no.1 on the charts for over a week and won her 27th, 28th, and 29th grammy awards.
The same year, she went on her Iconic HEARTBREAKER tour, bringing along her two children, her nephews Taj, Taryll, and Tj of 3t and her nephew Jaafar, who was just one at the time.
