Say 'black apple' and those could be your last words.

In a world where mythical creatures coexist in serenity, black dreamers are an enemy, but according to Carmiabell's History teacher they are extinct. She couldn't be more wrong.

After Carmiabell Goldmoon Locks comes across a black apple—an indubitable sign of black dreamers—she is trapped under an ancient curse that threatens to collapse her existence if she does not iron out the creature that cast it upon her, but shadows can not be caught, can they?

PROLOGUE

Take it from me; lying on the ceiling of a falling levitating train being choked by a vampire you thought could be the missing piece of your unwoven mat of love is not as fancy as it sounds. I guess every beginner has luck, and mine of finding a proper suitor was as bad as my cooking.

At a point like this I can't help but wonder what had gotten over me to trade a three layered jelly stick for a seat next to him.

Despite warning him one-too many times that my blood tasted like rotten rat poison, he still had the guts to lean his fangs closer.

Important to note though; his teeth were not as stretchy as those of trolls, there was a taste of lavender and a faint ordure of rosemary.

Cut the crap, I am about to die on my favorite day of the year.

It all started with a black apple and a girl as talkative as a broken music player.
