"So what will this mission be?" Nikolai asks me as he sits down on my couch
"We need to explore a few bases that had been empty for years, and if we find anyone we need to ship them back, but i don't think anyone will be there" I say as i pour some whisky for him and me
"Why?" He asks as i hand him the drink
"A huge massacre was there a year ago" I say as i sit down next to him
"You were there?" He asks as he notices that somethings wrong
"Yes" I say as i sigh deeply, as i ask;
"You were there?"
"No, funny how i wanted to go, but the Emperor didn't letted me." He says as i let out a small laugh
"Can i ask you a question?" He asks as i nodd
"Who is Rhanery Cameron?" He asks
I don't know how to answer that
I shallow whats left in my glass as i open my lips to answer.
"She's my sister" I say as i let out an awkard laugh
"So the Emperor raised you?" I ask as he scoffs
"Yes, but it wasn't that bad as everyone says"
"What do they say?" I ask as he makes a weird face
"That's nevermind, but he wasn't that bad" he says and i laugh at him only for him to be very suprised
"That's what i would say too, remember Nikolai, you cannot lie to me that easily" I say, only for him to shake his head playfully while looking deep in my eyes.
After he finished his drink too i ask him
"Another one?"
"Last one, remember?"
"Yeah,yeah" I say as i hand him an another drink, as i grab mine
"So whats the plan?"
After we talked about the plan for a while, i look at the clock, and see that its past 10, so we have a lot time for more talking
"Another one?" I ask Nik as i reach for his glass, that had been sitting on the coffe table
"I don't know, we have a mission tomorrow"
"Okay, then last one?" I ask asi walk away, to the kitchen
"That's what you said 4 drinks ago too, Commander" He says, but i'm already back next to him, handing him his full glass, as i hold mine.
I sit down next to him and turn the tv on
"Promise me one thing" I say, looking at the tv, but still, feeling his gaze on my face
"What?" He says slowly, as i turn my face to his
"Don't stab me in the back on the mission"
I say in a cold voice as he slips his hand on my face, gently rubbing his thumb on my lower lip
"I won't " He says as i smirk at him while he pulls me closer
"Good" I say as i pull him in for a kiss.
I can feel him smiling, as he kisses me back
"I don't want to be tired as fuck in the morning so we need to sleep" As i finish talking Nik stands up, pulls me with himself.
"Okay" He says as he leads me into my bedroom and pushes me on the bed, as he climbs into my arm
"I meant that everybody sleeps in their own bed " I say as i smirk playfully, but lucky me, Nik couldn't see it
"As you wish, Commander"
I can feel him trying to get out of the bed, so i pull him back into my arms and hold him even harder as i make a little comment
"Don't even try, Nikolai" I say, him letting out a small laugh

The bed was comfortable, Nik in my arms, both sleeping peacefully, everything was perfect, till my alarm rang.
I looked at the time, we still had an hour and a half till our mission starts.
So i got up quickly, turned my alarm off so Nikolai wouldn't wake up, and sneaked out to the kitchen to make some breakfeast

I opened my eyes only to see Cayden gone, so i got up and searched for him, i looked everywhere, the bathroom, living room,and the kitchen, but i could find was some freshly cooked food.
I sat down in the living room, waiting for him.

"Good morning, love" The deep voice says from across the room, and after i stopped blushing i responded
"Good morning, Commander" I say and he grins
"Where were you?" I ask, approaching him
"Zara's place" he say as he hands me a little headsets
"What is this for?" I ask while looking at it
He steps closer and takes it out of my hand, as he slips it on my head and switching it on.
"So we can talk to eachother, and Zara" he says as i hear an another voice
"Good morning everyoneee" Zara says with a lot of happines in her voice
"Ohh, Hi Zara, what is it that made you this happy?" I laugh as i ask
"Mood swings" Cayden says while laughing
"Shut up Cay! Khhmm ... I'm happy that i won't need to go with you guys" She says
"You guys got 40 minutes to be in the car, so hurry and don't be late" She says, leaving, turning of her mic
