A Housewife : Burden

Lakshmi clean the bed .
And started to wait for her husband as he went for a walk after eating dinner.

Varun opened the door and locked it .
After drinking water he said to Lakshmi that pass my bundle . Lakshmi pass  bundle and he started to correct the examination sheets.

Lakshmi was eating her thumb in nervousness.
" Khana nhi khaya kya?
Jo ungotha  kha rhi ho ."

(Didn't you had you meal?
As you're eating your thumb) he said without looking at her side.

"Suniye, kuch kahna tha .
Bol do kya"

( I want to say something can i ?) She said.

" Hmm. Bolo ," ( speak)

" Wo , wo , mujhe na ek samsya hogyi h . Mujhe kafi dinno se ma...mah..mahina nhi aya "

( That ,that , I have a problem .
From many days I don't get my m..mo..month da..date.)
She said while blushing.

"Acha , toh kal doctor ko dikha Lena .
Koi baat hoto bta na fir"

Lakshmi thought that at least her husband care for her and spending money also on small issues.

" Wo mummy ji ne bola h ki aap mujhe  wo..wo kit laade."
She said having big blush on her cheeks.

" Laal kyu bn rhi ho ab , tamatar.
Konsi kit Lani h ? B.p ki?"
He enquired.

"Aree smjhte kyu nhi ho aap."
She get irritated.

He was shocked by her Tone because till now she only stutter and blush in front of him. And now she is being irritated .

" Kya baat hai , sahi se bologi ki nhi.
Itna time waste mat karo , check krne do copies."

" Wo pregnancy wali k..kit"
She ran to the bathroom while saying this because she can't handle his reaction
She thought what will he think about her.

On the other hand Varun, was shocked by listening this because he was not expecting her to conceive this soon.

" Tamatar ne toh kamaal kar diya ,
Ek aur tamatar Apne pet mein uga liya"
He said while laughing and lightly tapping his head with his red pen and shaking his head .

He get up from the bed and make his way to find her as he knows that she will not come in the room because she was very shy to face him.

He stands before the gate of bathroom and start knocking while whispering which was only audible to Lakshmi .

" Tamatar, bahar jao .
Kal la denge tumhare liye tumhari kit. Raat ho gai hai bahut sab so gaye hain jaldi se bahar nikalo."

Lakshmi thought that there is no use to stay hide . As she has to face him sooner or later. So she came out while doing veil.

He caught her hand and take her to the room  and make her sleep.

He knows that she is a very shy girl who likes to blush at everything.

She is an introvert also that's why she stutter every time in front of him.

And that's what he loves about her.
Her submissive nature and politeness.

He never showed his politeness toward her because he think that she will be no same once she get her wings.

He check to all his sheets and fold into the bundle.

In the morning everything was same for Lakshmi .

She makes the breakfast and see of her in laws and her husband.

After that she started to do the house chores and taking care of the little girl.

Later in the evening, her husband started to teach the student of his  tuition.

Lakshmi make the tea of the evening.
And served the tea to everyone.
After that she she started to preparing for dinner.

After having dinner and cleaning the cutlery. She move to her room.

Her husband was went for the walk.
After sometime he came back and told Lakshmi to come near him.

And he handled her the pregnancy kit. And told her to do so.

After few minutes Lakshmi came back and show her pregnancy kit to him.

He waited for another few minute and the kid shore him to positive line in pink colour.

He pick up the upper packet and saw the instruction.

Lakshmi was too there nervously and peeking at the kit simultaneously.

" Do line dikha rha h ye toh,
Matlab hai kuch tere pet me " 
He said.

" Matlab" she said .

" Pregnant bta rha h ye iska matlab ."
He said .
