One needs to have straight hair and teeth.
A fake smile. Be sure to hide all the flaws beneath
my perfectly flawless skin.
Keep any negative emotions within.
Fake boobs, fake lips
Fake eyes, fake hips.
These fake things are seen beautifully.
This is what brings us together as a community?
Judge all books by the cover.
Why can't we just love each other?
Beautiful people love beautiful people,
they're the only ones that make it to the steeple.
But, little do we realize
looking through society's eyes,
that a pretty person can be more than ugly,
and that ugly person can be perfectly lovely.
Because society's beauty is what you believe,
only clever tricks to be deceived.
True beauty is what lies underneath,
a "perfect" human body isn't the goal to achieve.
To find love and be loved
you must first look above
the lies that society uses to hide
what true beauty is, denied
by society because of "their" version of reality.
Always telling us how to be,
be yourself that's the most beautiful thing to be,
and love yourself because that's beautiful to me.
