people are afraid

People are afraid. They are afraid of what they don't know. They see something different and need some sort of name. Any name. As long as it can be identified somehow. It's gotten bad though. People see a light in the sky and think its a UFO. You see a man with tattoos and you think he's a gangster. You see a man hugging another man and you think he's gay. And with these thoughts come superstitions. Aliens will take over the world. You're gonna get raped. Your kids will become gay too. These thoughts are ignorant thoughts. The light was a helicopter, the man is a tattoo artist, and those two guys are father and son. And what if it was an alien, gangster or gay? Maybe that alien just stopped by to ask for some sugar. Maybe that guy really wants out. Maybe those guys are in love. Is that so bad? To most people yes. But to people who don't look at a person by the outside, no. They don't see the different formed body, or the drawn on skin, or the gender. They see hearts. Minds. Souls. We don't see the difference. Counting them takes too long. Why not count what's the same? What's the same is what counts. Stop looking at stereotypes. Not all vampires want to suck blood (just look at Bella). Not all tourist are terrorists. Not all monsters want to bite your head off. If people can look past all that people can live as one. I'm not telling you this so that the next time you see some lake monster walking up your door to let him in. What I'm saying is stop putting names, superstitions and stereotypes on things we don't know. On people. So what is that boy is gothic or if that girl has coulrophobia or if that man is transgender or if that women is a stripper. Look pass the names they are given and you will see that they are just looking for love, hope, happiness. To make a living. Stop the madness. Stop bullying. Stop it all by starting with yourself. It just takes one person.
