Chapter two: Fun times in Queensland

Hey... so I know I haven't wrote for a while (a very, very long while) but I was reading the last chapter just before and I just really felt like making a new one, right now I don't really know what it'll be about but we will just see :)

Incase you didn't know we all live in Australia...well now you do. Anyway our three families have always gone on holidays together the first I remember was going to Palm Cove with the Reeds (Steph and Nick) but when I turned ten all three families (our family; the McKenzies, Sophie, Mel and Nat's family; the Roberts and Steph and Nick's family as I mentioned before; the Reeds) oh and by the way Stephanie why did you make 'Steph' autocorrect to Amazing god? Yeah thanks.

What was I saying? Oh yeah until I was ten when we all went to the Gold Coast together.

I have to say Sophie and I weren't the best of friends probably up until this year and to be completely honest I have no idea why we weren't and when we did become friends and how.

My memory is somewhat lacking if you can't tell...

So in Queensland we all shared a house in which Mel, Amazing god, wait- no I meant Steph, Jenny and Natalie shared a room together, Nick and Will shared a room and Sophie and I shared a room.

At the time DSs were huge so we were constantly picto-chatting eachother. We would draw and just basically have fun with our super cool DSs.

Nick had a crush on this girl who we shall call....Dina which just so happened to be Sophie's best friend. I remember him always bugging Sophie about her and I remember both of us sending picto-chats of a heart saying 'Nick + Dina' teasing him.

Everyday in Queensland we'd do super cool things such as going to the theme parks; Wet n' Wild, Movie World and Sea World. Sea World was definitely our least favorite as there wasn't as much stuff to do as there was in the other to theme parks.

When I was ten I was quite the daredevil and went in basically any ride so when my dad asked me to go on this slide call the mac(k?) 5 I instantly said yes. The mac 5 was basically a ride with three water slides: the ones one the sides were just basic slides but the one down the middle was a drop slide which of course Dad made us go on.

When it was my turn to go down I wasn't at all afriad until i was halfway down the slide and i kept flying up and bit in the air and crashing back down on to the slide again and again, my limbs were flying everywhere and later Nick said I looked as if I was going to fall off which scared me a lot.

Dad didn't only scar me that day but also my sister as they went on a ride where two people would sit on a raft type thing and go through this pitch dark water slide and when you got out your raft would dump you in the pool. However when my dad and sister came out of the slide my dad somehow landed on top of my sister giving her a bad blood nose which first-aid thought might have been broken.

Ah fun times right? Oh and did i mention I got bruises all over my back from the Mac 5? Yeah thanks Dad.

Want to know my most embarrassing moment that just so happened to take place there? Of course you do.

Well being young and only having two bathrooms in the whole house to share between the three families sometimes we had to use it at the same time. So I was in the shower washing my hair and Stephanie and Jenny who were 8 and 7 were having a bubble bath. It was almost dinner and after a long day swimming in the pool we had to get clean. Steph finished having her bath before I got out of the shower and she grabbed the towel next to the shower (which I might add was the only towel next to the shower and that the rack of towels near the door was closer to the bath than the shower was) and so she just went over and talked to Jenny while I got out of the shower while glaring at Steph for stealing what was going to be my towel. As I started my journey to the rack of towels next to the door, there was a knock.

"Who is it?" Amazing god (ugh. I cant be bothered changing it anymore) asked

"Nick" called a muffled voice "What snacks do you guys-" at which point for god knows what reason Steph opens the door with me standing right in plain very, very naked sight of him. I'm kinda glad I wasn't older so I didn't have proper breasts and such yet (I WAS ONLY TEN). Anyway I stood shocked for God knows how long until my brain finally stared working again allowing me to bob and try and cover it all.

I can't remember much after that but a few years later Nick and I were talking about embarrassing moments (which I may add, my life is made up of) when I asked him if he remembered that. He said he didn't but I don't know if I should believe him or not cause who could forget this body ...yeah...(jokes guys jokes...)

Anyway so this has been my truly amazing story about our wonderful times in Queensland (actually I only basically told the bad things...)
