GoodBye Lullaby
Black and blue my eyes are stained
no more tenderness remains
Scars forever stitched in skin
robs me of the child within
As You sing a lullaby so sweet to me
you sing me softly into a dream
then shattered with a hollow scream
Reality hits me, ripping away the seems
Red and clear the liquids drip
I watch in toil as you take your sip
deem me worthy of such pain
watching me behind this pained frame
As You sing a lullaby so sweet to me
you sing me softly into a dream
then shattered with a hollow scream
Reality hits me, ripping away the seams
Dance upon my open grave
banish the soul you refused to save
Wipe me clean from all your thoughts
as the ghost of me wished I fought
As you sung a lullaby so sweet
you sung me softly into a dream
too late when my hollow scream did cry
now it's time to say goodbye
