Fearless

prologue

I'm driving fast on my bike, making my way back to the house, about a few minutes later I finally make it home.

"How did it go?" Alex asked me

"Like usual" I said "good news is we are stocked with the latest tech and we have more weapons and ammo so we are good" I added

"Great, I'll head over to storage tomorrow morning, and do Intel an then go through the list of people who want to make deals." Elena said

"Great." I smiled, then walked away I went up to my room, I put on my sports bra, and jogging pants I grab my wraps and my phone, then I head to the basement, we turned it into a full gym so it doesn't really look like a basement at all

Once I get down there I turn on the lights I put but blue tooth on to connect it to the speakers and I put music on and I started to work out

Flashback

I held my hands up against my ears trying to block out the yelling, I hid in the closet that's in my room the next thing I knew the yelling stopped Everything was quiet. The next thing I knew the closet door flew open and he pulled me out and started to hit me over and over and over, he then took off his belt and lifted up my shirt and started to hit my back really hard. The only thing I could hear were my sobs and cries.

The next thing I knew I heard sirens and the front door being slammed open I heard footsteps running up the stairs a few guys appeared in the room, two held my father back and one picked me up I shuddered at his touch I was shaken and scared

"Shhhh, it's alright your safe now, " he said I saw the two men put my father in cuffs and took him away

"Sir-" another one came into the room, but stopped speaking when he saw me and another man appeared behind him

"Joan takes her down the ambulance please she's hurt" the guy holding me said the guy came over and took me I winched once he touched my back

The last thing I heard was "is dead" before we got outside

Flashback

I heard Someone yell my name getting my attention I stopped and I looked and I saw Alex

"You alright?" Alex asked

"Yeah I'm fine, why?" I said

"You looked like you were about to punch the bag off the chain, " he said I then looked down and I saw that my knuckles were bleeding. I guess I was punching a little too hard.

"Come, let me fix that for you, " he said and I followed him upstairs. We walk into the kitchen I sat on the stool that was on the other side of the island he got the first aid kit and sat next to me he gently took the wraps off of my hands my knuckles were bleeding I must of been punching really hard

"Well, they are not broken, but you have to be careful, " he said "this is going to burn, " he added then took the Cotten ball that had rubbing alcohol on it and gently cleaned my hands, I hissed when it touched my skin.

"Told you it would burn, " he said once he finished cleaning it, he wrapped both of my hands up and started to clean up.

Next thing I knew my phone went off

"Hello?" I said

"What!!! I'll be right there!" I said

"What's wrong?"Alex asked me

"Someone broke into our storage!" I said I ran up to my room I quickly changed I grabbed my keys to my bike and I went downstairs once downstairs I see Alex dressed

"I'm coming with you, " he said

"No I can handle this on my own I'm meeting Clark there" I said

"You need the back up if Clark is there, " he snapped

"Clark has proven that he and his gang are good allies and will look out for each other, plus he's a friend!" I snapped and with that I left

About 10 minutes later I finally get to my storage and I see Clark there. The storage unit was open, but he was standing outside I get off my bike and I meet him

"Hey Ava" he said

"So did you see who broke in?" I asked

"No, they were wearing black by the time I got here they were just leaving and when they say me the ran so quickly." He said

"And what were you doing here?" I asked

"I had to check on a few things at my storage we are making a delivery tomorrow, and I wanna make sure everything goes smooth, " he said and I nodded I then walked into the storage unit checking to make sure nothing was missing.

After a few minutes I walk back out and Clark was still standing there

"Anything missing?" He asked

"Yeah, but only our Wolfsbane, and a few knives and a few boxes of ammo." I sighed

"Anything I can do?" He asked

"No, but thanks for calling me when you did."I said and he nodded, then left I then closed the storage door and I locked it. Once I got on my bike I heard sirens.

Shit. I hopped on my bike and I started it and I drove off. As I was zooming down the street I saw a wolf in the middle of the road I was going to fast I pressed on my breaks but I wasn't going to stop in time so I swerved off the road.

I moved the bike off of me, the wolf slowly came up to me. I thought I was going to die, but I didn't instead it bit my side, I screams once it's teeth synced through my skin. What was worse then it stopped I felt his teeth slowly pull out he then ran off I cried in pain I heard my phone go off, but I couldn't move nor answer everything was blurred I saw figures through my helmet. I heard cars stopped I saw someone standing over me. He lifted me to sit up, but I screamed and cried in pain. He looked at my side and saw the bit, then everything went black.
