"I'll be right back, come on, it'll only be a minute! Why can't I be like everyone else?" I begged my mom. She reluctantly agreed. All I wanted was to go into Ai's Arts And Stuff by myself, to go buy school supplies. She could wait outside while I went in and browsed the shelves like a normal 10 year old would do. But not in my mom's case. She was a normal parent enough, and she let me do normal 10 year old things, but not going into stores alone. Ever. It got me wondering. Why this? She let me do everything else, but not this. All this only crossed my mind for a second. I got out of the car, took my money, and walked towards the store. My mother was giving the store a worried glance, as if she knew something was coming.
