Chapter 3 Drake Finlay

Mysterious, adorable smiles and piercing green eyes with his mahogany hair that bright up the sun. I've never seen green eyes before Drake's. Such a rare eye colour. As far as I've known him before, he's a basketball varsity in school. Too athletic he is though. I'm pretty sure many girls are fangirling about his skills and his physical features on the said sport. Ugh. But I'm not going to judge him right away, I still don't know the real Drake.

I started to talk to Drake everyday since he's my seatmate in my most classes. He's fun to talk to (but a bully) but there's something unexpected trait about himandthat I can't figure out. It's like he's hiding something from everyone else. I just couldn't ask him what because we're not that close to that point. And I'm pretty sure if I have the right to ask him too personal questions.

"Are you the only child in your family?" Drake asked me looking in my eyes. I like people when they talk, they mean it just by simply looking into their eyes. It's a big deal to me cause I can say if the person whom you are talking to is lying or not. We were seated at the back part of our Chemistry lab and making our experiment. Unfortunately, he's my partner.

I nodded and said, "Uh, yeah I am."

"Cool so are you a spoiled brat? I'm sure you can get whatever you want from your parents." he teased. He newly tousledhair up he put a smirk on the curve of his lips.

"What?!" my eyes widened when I heard him say that. Doesn't mean I'm the only child I'm a spoiled brat.

"Chill Iris, I didn't mean it like that."

"What?"

"Doesn't mean I'm the only child I'm a spoiled brat." He said. "I was just joking, Iris." He laughed out loud as if it's the only source of food.

"Did I just say it out loud?" I mumbled.

"Yes." He nodded and continued to laugh as if it's the end of the world.

"It's not funny!" I complained.

"Sure."

"Whatever." I hissed crossing my arm against me. "So, do you have any siblings?"

"Oh, yeah I have a sister, she's a freshman." He said. "Sometimes, she's annoying and talks too much about her obsession of almost all bands, mostly old groups. Bands that existed a long time ago, like what was that? The Corrs, Rolling Stones, Bonjovi, Ninety eight degrees, Westlife, Backstreet Boys, NYSNC, Michael Learns to Rock, Chicago and Air Supply??" is he ranting about his sister? I raised my eyebrow and stared at him. I mean who the hell hates old songs?!!

"What? As I just say, she's annoying. And her type of music sucks." He continued. "You know, she talks about it too much and there's not a single day she keeps on singing it and sh---" I cut him before he could continue to talk.
