Chapter One

*Flashbacks*

-Year 5-

I happily flew through the air above the quiditch pitch laughing as I watched my fellow team mates goof off the wind whipping my hair around my face as I squinted to see what my best friend was doing.

Flash backs of the past years at Hogwarts going through my mind as I watched my friends hang out.

They were my only happy memories in the midst of all the pain.

-Flash Backs Start-

-Year One-

I squealed in delight as I saw the Hogwarts owl delivering my letter. My cousin Lucius smirked at me. “Betcha didn’t get you little pest.” He said ruffling my hair up. I glared at him read my letter and stuck my tongue out at him.

“Ha! I did! Now you get to see more of me.” I grinned up at my best friend.

Lucius smiled at me. “As long as you don’t mess up my dates with Narcissa.” He said. “And you’d better not get into Gryffindor.” He glared at me.

I nodded. Though I felt a strange feeling in my gut. I didn’t agree with the Pure-Blood ways. Or the house of Slytherin.

Which is where I was expected to go?

I loved my family. But I didn’t always agree with them.

-At kings cross boarding the train-

I happily dragged my small duffle bag behind me as my Father pushed my owl and cat cage along with my trunk on a cart.

I bounced up to the wall and then nervously stepped back before hearing the sharp voice of my Aunt. “Go Roseabella. Go through it. What are you afraid of?” I scampered through the wall squeezing my eyes shut tightly until I came out the other side.

I spun in a circle amazed at all the happy smiling people there.

I spent most my life at the Malfoy manor. So my parents could easily go off on their death eater missions.

Nobody smiled there. ‘Cept for my cousin Lucius. But he only smiled at me. And that was rare.

I wasn’t paying attention when I bumped into by a mass of flying black curls.

The young boy-about my age quickly helped me up apologizing as what I assumed was his mother came up behind him.

“Sirius Black. Control yourself. Do you realize whose daughter you just knocked over in unruly behavior? Watch where you going and quite acting like a lunatic.”

“You’re the lunatic.” The boy-Sirius I’m assuming muttered under his breathes.

I laughed and his mother looked at us suspiciously.

“Where are your parents Roseabella?” she asked me.

I wordlessly pointed toward them as I turned back to Sirus who grinned and as about to speak further when Lucius cut him off.
