Doug Mears is a successful financial consultant who has been in the profession since late 2011. Before becoming a consultant, he had initiated a precious metals company in 2008. Prior to that, he was the co-owner and President of Tiger Financial Corporation, which was a Brentwood-based, California company. The company had huge outreach with workplaces in Chicago, Atlanta, Manhattan, Santa Monica and Thousand Oaks. After nine years of working there, he sold his shares in 2007.
Mr. Mears has also worked as a Senior Account Executive for Statewide Commodity Brokerage Corporation (1995 - 1998), and for American National Futures Corporation, Century City, California (1990 – 1995). Before becoming interested in finance, he worked as an actor for seven years (1983 – 1990), appearing in more than thirty-five national commercials and regionals. He has been working in the commodity brokerage industry since.
Mr. Doug has attended prep school and holds a double degree in Business Administration and German from Colby College, Waterville Maine.
