Hunter Renfroe will be reinstated from the 10-day DL tomorrow. He hasn't played in an MLB game since April 17 against the LA Dodgers. He was batting .200/.281/.440 with four doubles, one triple, and two homers before hitting the DL.
In 10 games in his extended rehab with AAA El Paso, he was batting 9-for-41 (.220) with a double, two homers, and two walks. Both of his homers came in the same game.
The Padres are in need of a fresh bat, as the lineup hasn't been cutting it this year. The Padres hope that he can provide us with that as he makes his return.
