She stood there

She stood there

dancing

with no music in the air

Her peachy lips

curved in a smile

yet no happy memories

in her head

She danced without regret

an autumn rose in her hair

wearing a spring dress

Singing with such

a mellow tone

it brought me to tears

In the winter

There she stood

under the stars

with nothing but the cold

I wished I could join her

but where she is

was a place I cannot go

a place with nothing

where time is gone

as is life

Though I would give anything

to be with her

I am still here watching

with nothing to give

for she was my everything

So I write this poem

where happiness

and

mourning will be found

Though no one noticed her

I wished she would know

that someone remembered her

dancing there

in the cold winter air

with the stars dancing around her

in her sun dried dress

with an autumn rose in her

light brown hair

and her peachy lips

singing with such mellowness

that it brought me to tears

oh how I wished I could

listen to her

singing my name

one last time
