Mae Valentine never imagined that she would get a lead role in an upcoming indie slasher film. Used to taking minor and forgettable roles, the young and aspiring actress believes it to be her big breakthrough into Hollywood stardom. Before her departure for filming, Mae decides to return to her small hometown of Blackwater, after years away in Los Angeles, to visit her dad and get in touch with her humble beginnings before her eventual fame. But with her return comes a sequence of mysterious disappearances and a plague of murders.
Unbeknownst to her that the one responsible has his eyes set on her and the killings won't stop until he has his little starlet – screaming, bloody, dead.
