Axel Howerton (or #AxelHow, if you're into that whole hashtags & brevity thing) is the genre-hopping, punch-drunk author of the darkly funny detective novel Hot Sinatra (Finalist for the 2014 Arthur Ellis Award). His newest novel Furr, available October 2016 from Tyche Books is a "modern gothic werewolf story, that is part crime novel and part urban fantasy". His work has appeared the world over, in no fewer than five languages, and more than 30 (but less than 1000?) publications.
When he's not on-duty as a hometown anti-hero, Axel spends most of his time roaming the untamed prairies of Alberta with his two brilliant young sons and a wife that is way out of his league.
