My passion is to inspire, speak to the heart, provoke thought, awaken the soul and challenge the norm, and help build communities that shine.

In 2008, I pioneered the English @CellPhoneNovel - a Japanese youth movement of serialized minimalist poetry-prose (avg. 100 words/chapter) - through Textnovel Reader's Choice Award winning SECONDHAND MEMORIES (Sakura Publishing 2015) and led the writing community.

My more recent work includes ESPRESSO LOVE, a dystopian magical-realist novel that won Watty's 2014 and ranked #1. OF FORESTS & CLOCKS & DREAMS (Inspiritus Press), a collection of stories, poetry & art, was published in 2016, and the short story The Elephant Girl received the Babs Burggraf literary award. KAWATARE, a poetry chapbook, was published by Anstruther Press in August 2017.

Some of my influences come from Japanese entertainment, pop culture, and names such as Murakami, Martel, DeLillo, Carver, Orwell, Kafka, Rumi, Rimbaud, Whitman, Baudrillard, McLuhan.
