I was born in Jamaica but grew up in Canada. In 1980, at 17 and right out of high school, I joined the Canadian Armed Forces and spent the next ten years serving my country. The first five years in the Artillery then re-mustered to the Armored Corps for another five. After the military I moved to Northern Ontario, then in 1996 when I moved to Ottawa.

This is where I began to write my first book, Death's Door - Where Right and Glory Lead. I have always enjoyed reading science fiction so it was only natural that I developed an interest in writing sci-fi.

I have since branched out and now enjoy writing fictional short short stories; I also have a special fictional romance project on the go that's turning out to be longer than your regular short. (Look for Jamacian Heat soon)

While writing is my passion, I also scuba dive and have a day job to pay the bills. I maintain my own modest web site at www.williamdesouza.ca and always look forward to feedback from you.

Thanks for visiting, reading my site, stories and books; and for your continued support - Keep reading and check back from time to time to see if I post any new chapters, short stories, or if I have any books or short stories coming out in print.
