I have been writing most of my life as a way of making the voices in my head shut up.

For a long time I ran Play by (e) Mail role playing games and shared fiction settings.
I have had a few pieces published in RPG magazines and supplements, but mostly I have 'self published' through web sites dedicated to the relevant game system. I still demonstrate Role playing games at conventions as part of Team8.

For the year before my 40th I challenged myself to write a novel, Open Door. I then got into Nanowrimo which I have successfully completed for the last 5 years.

The Asylum stories have developed out of a play by mail game I ran in the mid 1990's and fiction I've written based in the universe ever since. They are set in 'near now' and recent history/ current events from our world influence the event. (Often what was happening as I was writing them)
The one line pitch is "Modern day knights of the round table defending the realm from the legendary creatures lurking at the edge of reality."

These stories are being developed on the Write On web site and only added to this site as I considered them finished. As they are not been written in chronological order there is a  time line so people can read them in plot-line chronological order if they want.
