Amy Joy

I am the author of The Academie (young adult dystopian romance), a 2012 Amazon Bestseller and ABNA Quarterfinalist. Now I'm working my way through the dozens of of ideas I've got in the hopper for serious and silly stories for adults and kids.

I'm married to sci fi writer, CN James, and my stories often include romance because despite what everyone told me before I met my husband (whom I met just before I turned 30 and was completely worth the wait), true love really does exist and it really is possible to find someone you fit with perfectly who you'll still be wild about years later.

I'm a huge supporter of all things indie, spend way too much time on my computer, I have probably too many degrees (two Bachelors and two Masters, one of each in English Lit) and I taught college writing for over 10 years.
