I've been reading for as long as I can remember. One of my first memories is of sitting on my Grandma's lap and reading my favorite book. In an old house, in the hills of Virginia, in her warm lap, the words brought the illustrations on the page to life. Today I read and write stories which create their own illustrations in my head, the words on the page falling away as I journey into the worlds of imagination. Short stories, poems, flash fiction, novels-it all tumbles into and out of my head and I just try to keep up.
