With George having passed away, Karma is dead set on embarking on a new life with just Reece and the baby. After all the conflict of the past few months, she wants nothing more than to put the past behind her and prepare for married life with her one true love. And with the Levantines, Damon and Otis out of the picture, she no longer has to defend her father's honour. It feels like the perfect life she has pictured is slowly becoming a reality. The future looks bright. But there's a twist, because although Karma has managed to heal her own relationship with her mother, fractures appear to form in her own quest to maternity. She learns that the child she is carrying will not solve her deep-rooted issues and may summon more questions than answers. The initial affection dries up quickly and she has to work through her post-natal experience to learn to love not only her child, but herself, all over again.
