Brady's job is to study people- the way they speak, the way they look, the way they move- to figure out what exactly makes them stand out in order to be taken down. She sees special every day, in everyone she knows, while all she's ever known is to be average- quiet, smart, compliant- one within a crowd. Harry is naturally special, in all he says, all he does, and all he is. Harry is nothing but average, and Brady doesn't quite know how to handle it. A story about crime, standing out, standing up, embracing who you are, and finding comfort in being vulnerable.
