The stock market crashed in the 1930's. Henry Laurens finds that only one third of their money had been saved in the bank. The man shares this with his eldest son, John Laurens, who is now desperate to find a way to support their family. Henry tries to stop his son, but John is persistent. John Laurens isn't letting the news of The Great Depression ruin his family. On the other side of the situation, the young man Alexander Hamilton is working the factories.
