Ace Wilder is a what you would call a shy introvert, although the one thing that can bring a smile to his face is pitching a ball. However, he has his own flaws that come with it. Ace's extreme flexibility which aides him to perform his extraordinary and odd form, raising his foot almost above his head and bends his body so his arm swings out far behind his chest. Although he can only throw fast while throwing a breaking ball. His troubles start with his incapability to throw fastballs. The form he had taught himself had made it nearly impossible for him, therefore making his fastballs considered fast but impossible to control. All his accuracy practice goes down the drain when it comes to fastballs, but having loved pitching since he was young he trained using several over techniques. Rory Paine is the ideal catcher considering his large built and muscular body. He wishes to find someone that can pitch something extraordinary to him and blow him away, which has been a hard task since a past teammate he had played with ruined his trust. This made him incredibly controlling and hates pitchers because of the stereotypical attitude that's shouts "I'm better than everyone here". Often times he can be seen fighting with the pitchers on his team because of not listening or not paying attention to his hand signals. Rory had been suspended a few times for these reasons, but nonetheless being a substantial player on the team.
