17 year old Melody Rose Avila is just an average teenage girl from Los Angeles, California... or so she thinks. Having grown up in LA, it's all she's ever known. She looks completely different from her parents and two younger siblings, but she just believes it's some weird thing dealing with genetics. But even though she's certain that his is her family, and LA is where she belongs, a group of girls from Melody's high school don't seem to think so. Having been bullied by these girls throughout the entire time she's spent there, Melody has turned to the only people who can help her through it - Fifth Harmony. Her biggest wish is to meet the girls, but she has convinced herself that it won't ever happen. But as her graduation from high school nears, she uncovers clues that lead to the truth about her past. And when Melody figures out who her real family is, her whole world will be turned upside down - and she'll get closer to the Fifth Harmony girls than she ever thought possible.
