Avenue where we wait still By james a. galgano Every avenue of lost souls filled with echoes forever wander lost Each day and night left alone among the shadows dancing upon wall tossed. Like waves upon awaiting shoreline often for dreams which never come true Within the realm of every passing memory often which haunts whole life through Welcoming waywardly with caution each light through curtains blind Seeking solace or perhaps some long sought answer to questions we never find. Caught within the net like catch of day longing to escape such precarious bind. Hoping often beyond all expectations one day such dreams soon come true. Yet often never do leaving us lost beneath unlit streetlight on each life's avenue.
