Ruma Flack had everything she could ever want. She was the close friend of the Mayor of Hollywoodland, the single most popular anchorwoman for her station, and the "alleged" fiancee of the head of Benzedrine Corporation, Dr. Tarrence Benzedrine. But Ruma was unhappy. Where her closest friend Tiffany Blews was eagerly planning her wedding to Demitri Sandman, the single most powerful man in Hollywoodland, Benzedrine was far too busy with his studies and work to even spend time with her. From a young age the Sinners of Hollywoodland were warned to steer clear of the Carousel outside of town, and the gate that still stood nearby. It's neon lights read simply: "Normal Land" and though Mr. Sandman had long boarded over it, Ruma needed an escape. Was the strange world on the other side of that gate truly better than the one she knew? ~~~~~~~ Aribelle Stump was the happiest person alive in her own book. Though her fame from Fall Out Boy wasn't nearly as prominent, she was entirely okay with being where she was, a mother of a five-year old and the wife of sucessful solo artist Patrick Stump. Patrick could always make time to spend with her and Harper, and her friends remained close. But there was something strange going on in the upstairs spare room. Green slime would often drip from their old TV, seemingly without a source. There would sometimes be a reflection not her own in the mirror there, the reflection of a squinting, curious woman in a purple dress and heavy makeup. The universes they resided in were starting to collide, could one broken board mean freedom for Ruma and a strange new life for Aribelle?
