Alice is the only female hockey player on her team and is trying to balance the love of the game with the isolation she feels from the rest of the team. Alice's grandmother, Trudy, runs the rink concession with her trusty sidekick George the maintenance supervisor. Not much happens at the rink without Trudy and George knowing about it. A young caretaker has caught their attention, and for good reason. He is up to something, but Trudy and George just can't put their finger on it. Meanwhile tensions rise as Alice's home tournament looms near and rumours of new twins on a rival team threatens their chances of winning gold. Ricky, the young caretaker, plans to use the hustle and bustle of the upcoming tournament to go about his dealings under the cover of the crowd. Ricky knows he needs to be careful and feels like he's being watched, but so far he's been able to operate without a hitch. If he can just get through this tournament his debts will be paid and he can go back to just doing his regular job. Ricky expected the tournament to be busy, but it quickly turns to pure chaos in more ways than one. There might not be a clear winner in this story, but there sure are a lot of losers.
