This was a community profile existing on its own before now. Now, it has a parent organization in the entity that is "Route Africa".

The account is thus, the wattpad representative of what goes on in the Real World Meet Africa Initiative sub-unit of Route Africa.

According to Route Africa's organization profile, "Route Africa Activity Unit (Learn about Route Africa here: http://routeafricablog.wordpress.com) reading a myriad of African literature, and creatively expressing what one has read here on Wattpad in various creative forms (fan-fictions, anthologies, discussions on Wattpad club discussion threads, poems, etc.), thereby engaging and expanding a global community of writers and readers who are interested in what Africa has to offer to the literary scene or who still have this interest latent in them. Members of this unit are expected to join Wattpad and be actively engaged in what goes on there."
