the disrespectful.
Raised to accept
things I disagreed with.
Raised to believe
Truths I never thought were factual.
Raised to expect
The people closet to me,
Would be the ones to ruin me.
Raised to trust
Everything being taught,
Fed, to me since birth,
Was truly going to save me
In the end.
