Welcome to our vibrant and engaging Mystic book club! We're thrilled to have you join us on this literary journey where books come to life through our discussions, insights, and shared passion for reading. In this chapter, we'll explain how our book club's new feature works, focusing on our unique approach to selecting the "Book of the Week," earning points, and fostering a community of enthusiastic readers.
The book selected by us is bestowed with the title of "Book of the Week." Later on, we will delve into the numerous advantages that come with being awarded this title.
How it works 📌
◐ The Magic assignment for the 'Book Of The Week' will be announced every week separately from the regular assignment.
◐ Only the Mystic Book Club members are aloud to participate.
◐ You have the freedom to read as many chapters as you prefer from the chosen book.
◐ In addition to reading, you are required to write comments following the guidelines provided in the comments structure chapter of the book. Your comments should include 3-4 inline comments and one overall comment.
◐ Once you have completed your reading and commenting, please submit a inline comment on that particular assignment regarding how many chapters you did. Eg: @MysticBookClub I'm done reading 1,2,3,4,5 chapters of '(name of )book of the Week'
◐ The number of chapters you read will determine the number of points 🌟 you earn.
◐ The participant with the highest points 🌟 will have their book selected as the next 'Book Of The Week' for the next assignment.
◐ The points🌟 accumulated from each assignment will carry over to the subsequent assignment.
◐ After a book is chosen as the 'Book of the Week', it is ineligible for the next two assignments to be selected again. However, once this period has passed, it becomes eligible for consideration once more.
2. Deeper Engagement : Inline and overall comments foster thoughtful discussion and analysis, enhancing the reading & writing experience.
3. Recognition and Rewards : Earn points for reading and commenting, with top participants' book selections gaining recognition as "Book of the Week"
4. Access to Diverse Books : Experience a variety of genres and authors, broadening participants' reading horizons.
5. Flexibility in Reading : Choose how much to read, allowing participation at each person's own pace.
6. Increased Visibility for Your Own Work : When participants' books are selected as "Book of the Week, " they gain more reads and comments from our club members, providing valuable feedback and exposure.
7. Sense of Achievement : Opportunities to have a book selected create a feeling of accomplishment and motivates.
