Jimin lay curled up in Jungkook's arms, the warmth of his embrace surrounding him like a protective barrier. Jungkook held him gently, as if Jimin were made of delicate glass, afraid that any pressure would shatter him. With his face buried against Jungkook's chest, Jimin inhaled the familiar, comforting scent of his cologne, a subtle yet calming fragrance that soothed his frazzled nerves. Jungkook rested his chin softly atop Jimin's head, his hand gliding tenderly over the back of Jimin's hair, each caress calming him further with every passing second.

Jimin's sobs, which had shaken him moments before, gradually subsided, leaving only the sound of his quiet breathing. Though his tears had stopped, he remained pressed against Jungkook, unwilling to pull away from the safety of his arms. The steady rhythm of Jungkook's heartbeat beneath him became a grounding force, offering Jimin a fragile sense of peace.

They stayed like that, wrapped up in each other's warmth, for what felt like hours. Just when Jimin thought Jungkook might have drifted off to sleep, he felt a soft kiss land on his forehead. A sudden spark coursed through his body, catching him off guard. He wanted to open his eyes, to see Jungkook's face close to his, but for some reason, he kept them shut, savoring the quiet moment. A few minutes passed before Jungkook placed another kiss, this time on the bridge of Jimin's nose, and then one on its very tip. But just as Jimin's heart began to race in anticipation of what might come next, Jungkook hesitated.

Jimin's breath hitched. The expected kiss-one that he secretly craved- never came. His chest tightened with disappointment as Jungkook pulled away slightly, leaving a hollow feeling in the space between them. Jimin didn't understand why, but he longed for the kiss he'd been denied. He wanted Jungkook to close the gap between them, to reassure him with a kiss and whisper that he was loved. Instead, he felt the cold absence of his touch, and it pained him.

Slowly, Jimin opened his eyes, his gaze meeting Jungkook's. Jungkook looked down at him, his large, dark doe eyes filled with emotion that words couldn't express. The intensity in Jungkook's stare made Jimin's heart flutter. He wanted to say something, to tell Jungkook that he felt the same, that the love between them was mutual, but the words were caught in his throat. For a few moments, their eyes stayed locked, communicating in silence, until Jungkook's gaze flickered downward to Jimin's lips.

Jimin knew Jungkook wouldn't kiss him without permission-not after everything that had happened between them. Jungkook always put his feelings first, his need for consent evident in every gesture. With that thought, Jimin decided to make the first move. Slowly, he leaned in, closing the small distance between them, and gently pressed his lips to Jungkook's in a soft, tentative kiss. Pulling back just a little, Jimin hoped the gesture would show Jungkook that he was ready, that he wanted this as much as he did.

Jungkook understood instantly. A slow smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he reached up to trace Jimin's lower lip with his thumb. He gazed at Jimin's lips intently, as though savoring the sight of them, before leaning in and capturing them with his own. There was a restrained hunger in the way he kissed Jimin, as if he had been holding back for far too long.

The kiss started gentle, testing, but when Jimin showed no sign of resistance, Jungkook deepened it. His hand found its way to Jimin's waist, pulling him impossibly closer. Jimin's heart raced, the heat from Jungkook's body radiating through him, sending waves of warmth up his cheeks. Slowly, Jimin wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck, their lips moving in perfect sync. Jungkook's hand slid down to Jimin's back, pressing their bodies tightly together, the closeness making Jimin's head spin.
