The final moments

After she gathers everyone, they make their plates and eat.

"To the merge" Alaric holds up a cup of coffee.

"To the merge" Everyone repeats and eats

"This is really good" Josie says and hope nods.

"Thanks Ric for making us breakfast" They all say.

"No problem it only took 2 hours" He sits  with his plate and starts eating.

After breakfast, they head to their rooms to take showers and get ready for the day.

"Ouu what should we wear the day of the merge?"Lizzie asks and josie shrugs

"I dunno maybe something dark like a funeral dress" Josie says.

"Why a funeral dress?" Lizzie raises an eyebrow.

"Well it's a sad day" Josie sighs and lizzie nods.

"True..funeral it is" Lizzie picks out a black lace dress.

"Yep" Josie also picks out a black dress but this one is silky.

They hang their dresses up and walk out their room. They walk to the lounge..

"Ooo donuts and icecream" Josie takes a donut and bites into it

"I- okay then.."Lizzie does the same.

"Hey Josie and Lizzie"Bree walks in.

"Oh hey bree"Josie says with her mouthful of donut

"Uhh are those donuts?" She asks and the twins nod

"Oh.. well I'll be on my way" She walks away

"That was weird.." Lizzie eats some ice cream

"Very weird"Josie does the same

"Hey girls" Alaric sits on the couch and takes a donut.

"Hey dad" Lizzie says and eats another donut

"Im nervous for this merge, aren't you?" Alaric seems rushy

"Of course..we are the ones participating in it" Josie notices and shakes her head.

"Well I got to go set up everything bye girls"He stands and walks out

"Bye dad" They say at the same time

"Why is everyone acting so weird" Josie asks

"Who knows..their Probably imposters.." Lizzie scoffs

"I'm going to the garden bye"Josie leaves

"Hey Mrs.Mikaelson" Josie smiles as she sees hayley

"Oh hi Josie..you can call hayley" Hayley smiles.

"What are you doing?"Josie looks at the flowers

"Picking flowers for the merge"Hayley says and josie nods.

"Ah..well have fun" Josie walks away to the park

At the park she sees Hope.

"Hey hope" Josie runs to her

"Hey Jo" Hope giggles

"So how are you feeling?" Josie asks

"Good actually. I got some fresh air and bought some food" Hope smiles brightly

"That's great" Josie nods

They talk for a few hours until it's get late( around 5).They walk home hand in hand. When they get into the building, they see food on the table.

"A merge dinner?" Josie asks and Alaric nods

"You know me too well jo"  Alaric chuckles

"Well you did buy donuts and a made breakfast so I kinda expected this" Josie sits by hope.

"To the-?" Alaric stops mid speech

"Merge!" Everyone says in sync

"Hey can you pass the salt" Lizzie asks and caroline passed it to her

After dinner, they do their nightly routines

"Jo..it's tomorrow..the day one of us dies" Lizzie frowns

"I hope it's me that dies" Josie says and lizzie looks at her with a confused look

"Why-?" Lizzie asks

"So you can live your life with Sebastian and your future children"She replies with a innocent smile

"Ohh well I want you to live your life with hope and your future kids" Lizzie says and josie giggles

"I'm sleepy" Josie says and lays down.

Lizzie lays down and they both fall asleep. The next day, they wake up early and gets dressed. They hold hands while doing so. When they get into the kitchen, Everyone is there. They have tears in their eyes but smile to hide the pain.

"Good morning girls" Caroline says before hugging them tightly.

"Good morning mom" They say simultaneously.

"Let's eat and start alright?" Alaric says and they nod.

When they are done eating,they head to the school gym where the whole school is. They look nervous but stays calm.

Josie looks around and sees Hope crying. She looks at Everyone else and she can't help but cry.

"Don't cry please..im going to cry too" Lizzie starts crying

"Let's start" Alaric says in a heartbroken tone

The process begins. Everyone quietly watches as the powers combine with each other. Alaric is holding jo (the mom) and stefan is holding Caroline while they cry. Everyone is quietly crying while the merge happens.

After a few minutes, both girls fall to the ground.

"Who won?" Alaric asks

"The winner is...."

And that is the end of the series..I want to leave it out with a mystery ending. Thank everyone for reading this hosie story. I'm thankful for everyone. This is my most popular story that I've ever written before so thank you all. I mean it from my heart and soul. Don't worry! There will be a book 2 Of course ;)
