Chapter 7: My Move

She stood to her feet, glaring at Svetlana, then flicks her eyes at the pitcher, then twirls and kicks the pitcher right at her, Svetlana dodges the pitcher and turns back, seeing Ada flying right towards her, her fist reels back. She lands a blow, smirking to herself, but it was short-lived as that blow was just caught in Svetlana's hand.

She grips at Ada, then twirls her around and locks her head and arm in a headlock. Ada struggles as Svetlana tightens her grip. She flicks her eyes around the room, trying to see what she can use, but then spotted across the room and saw a glass case above the mantle. Ada brought her leg, hitting Svetlana in the face, she let go and stumbles back as Ada flips her way to the other side of the room and stood in front of the mantle.

She exhales and looks right at Svetlana, "So, it's true what they said about you being a former Instructor." Ada states and Svetlana just smirks. "Former? I still am an Instructor. Your sister would know, she was my best student." she informs her, Ada's fist tightens again to the point it was trembling.

Then gunfire went off outside, drawing Svetlana's attention to the window. Ada then slams her fist into the glass case, gripping hold of the hunter's knife in her hand, then flips it and stood ready. Svetlana turns back and looked at Ada as she twirls the blade, stepping closer towards her.

She then swung the knife at her, but Svetlana dodges, blocks, and redirects the blade away from her. Then leans back, evading the blade, then she twirls around her, locking her arm in, then took the knife and slice up at her, but Ada dodges at the last second and flips back to where she started.

Then she stood up and glares at her, Svetlana just glares then flicks her eyes down and smirks. Ada looks down and saw that her suit and undershirt were sliced, revealing her bra underneath. Then she turns back and glares at her, "You know, you and your sister are more similar in your combat skills than either of you will ever admit." she informs her, Ada just clutches her fist.

The tension was in the air and it grew thicker with each passing second. But the tension was cut loose as the cut-through as the phone ring, Svetlana shot a look over her shoulder and her assistant scurries over and answers it. "Yes?" he answers and pauses a moment.

Then he places his hand on the phone and pulls away, "The terrorist have broken through the central gate." he calls her, making her shoot a surprising look at him. Ada saw her chance and she rolls away, catching Svetlana's attention. Rolling back to her feet, Ada grips the doors and throws them wide open. But an emergency shutter gate drops down in front of her, sealing her into the room.

She quickly steps back in surprise, then turns back and saw Svetlana standing behind her desk and hand reached into her drawer. "As I said. We've decided to delay your departure," she informs her, pulling her hand away and stood formerly again. Ada shot a look over at the assistant as he steps out with a shotgun in his hand "Permanently." she said and the shutter door then seals over the window, swallowing the room in dark.

But moments later, the alarms went off, red lights lighting up the room as a sound jerks outside. Cable wires that were... moving. Ada shifts in her spot as she realizes the entire room was an elevator. "Now that's impressive."

Stepping through the wake of the attack of the central, Leon looks down at the dead that were splattered onto the ground with no remorse. As the last look on the soldier's eyes was complete fear.

But then he looks over and saw one of the Lickers were killed, "I keep saying these things make bad pets." he said aloud. Then looks around, seeing no particular shade of red around.

He passes the smashed bee trucks as everything was destroyed, he kept looking, still no shade of red. He grins, then a call for help screams over the radio, making Leon stop and listen in.

Then gunfire close by gets his attention and he looks back to the palace, no sight of the gunfire, so it was taking place inside. He inhales and charges forward through the Presidential Palace front gate.

Inside the Palace, everything was ruined, but he leans back against the clawed wall and peeks out, seeing the coast was clear, then quickly shuffles out and aims his rifle, ready. He shuffles down the hall, aiming down at the gun momentarily at the bodies as he presses on.

But then he slows to a stop, he stares down at a pour of blood, as it was still fresh and drops of blood plummet into the pool. He snaps his gaze right up and saw two Lickers crawling on the ceiling, he aims his rifle as one hiss at him.

They then drop down to the ground, Leon kept his rifle on them as they stalk forward, hissing at Leon, passing him. Leon slowly turns following on as it stalks past him, but it then stops and turns back. It hisses at him, flicks its tongue. He just stares, unfazed as he lowers his gun and turns away from him.

He watches them go, sniffling the dead body and wondering which one to snack on first. He then slowly turn back and went to step down the hall. But the Lickers snarled behind him, making Leon snap back. Only to find them fighting among themselves. So carefully, he continues to steps back, then turns and marches down the hall. But then a hand suddenly snaps at his ankle, making him stop and aim his gun down at whatever grabbed him.

But it was just a surviving soldier, he gurgles as he pulls himself up and looks at him, but Leon shot a looks back and saw the Licker snarled as they snapped their attention onto him. He growls then looks back to the soldier. "Sorry, but I don't have time to stay and chat right now," he said and took off running.

The Licker ran after him as one swung its claw at him, killing the soldier. The other kept chasing Leon, he books it right for the officer, the Licker right behind him leaps right for him, but Leon turns back, firing his rifle at it and it flung back and smacks dead onto the ground. The other charges right after him, he turns back and grips the handle and pushes the door open, only to dangle from the swung open door and looks down at the long way down.

He then looks back and saw the Licker jump right through the door, trying to reach him, only to plummeted down to his death, it whimpered and yelped as it went down. Leon just looks down at the long way down.
