CH 18 Poppy field

"Good morning beautiful," Thalia spoke. Calypso blushed wishing her a good morning as well along with a kiss for the both of us. "So what's the plan? I don't think walking a long distance is a good idea. As much as I feel better the posion has left me weak still." The girls looked at me for an answer but none came to me that were reasonable. "I don't know love teacincally taking the poison out of you was the most I can do. Remember just because your my lovers doesn't mean special treatment." Calypso frowned while Thalia kept a think face on. "She can ride on my back," Thalia announced. "What?" Calypso and I responded. "I'll carry her on my back I've carried injured hunters like that before this is no difference. If the old monster comes out to play you can protect us since that falls into the guide lines of helping us right?" A smile etched it's way onto my face," Annabeth might be rubbing off on you Thals you sounded like your niece there for a moment." Thalia punched me with a frown. "Don't tease her dear Thalia has always been smart in her own way I'm sure," Cal spoke defending her. This made Thalia blush while I began to chuckle. "You are right Cal. Now lets get ready to go we are wasting day light."

Everyone was ready to go the only thing left was to use the sins powers.
Thalia and Calypso began using their blessings. Thalia's eyes went purple while Calypso had one purple and one red. "Leo you know what to do." He nodded telling Annabeth to repeat after him. "Hear me deadly sins. Listen to my plea. Cleanse my tainted soul. Pick away at me like pins. Till my soul is clean and free. I submit to you, take control," they both recited together. Annabeth dropped to her knees being new to the experience. Leo's eyes were red matching his sin of Greed. Once Annabeth got up opening her eyes to us were saw a dark blue. Leo tilted his head in confusion not knowing what her sin was. "What is it? What color are my eyes?" she asked. "A dark blue," Leo told her. She turned to me," What sin is dark blue?" "Gluttony." They all looked at me confused so I filled them in on what I could," When we find him he'll be able to tell you for sure. I can only make a guess but it might not be correct." She waved it off," I'll just wait no time for something that might be wrong. Let's get moving." With that being the last thing said we made our way into the poppy field.

As we walked you could see how much the field was disturbed. There was hardly any flowers or grass the ground was turned up by something snake like. I decided to go through our watches bestiary to see if they added what they had found. Sure enough I see they entered something called a Purple worm they seemed to have super sensitive hearing and we're poisonous. Hopefully none of the monster army was able to obtain any of them not that it would be a problem with Dionysus and Demeter. "We should be good guys it looks like the others took care of the monster that caused all this damage."

Annabeth kept walking while asking what the creature was. "It's called a Purple worm. They are giant ass worms with a poisons stings on it's tail. They have super sensitive hearing and travel under ground. They can also eat through solid rock so you can usually find gems and what not in it's stomach." "That low key sounds like a cool monster," Leo spoke. "He's not wrong it does sound kind of cool," Thalia added backing him up. "Ugh you two are total children," Annabeth groaned. "Well your dating one of them," Calypso teased. "And I am a child technically to all you old folks," Thalia defend herself. I chuckled," Love just because you technically froze your body at fifteen doesn't make you young. Now that your a minor god your just as old as the rest of them." She gave me a pout before huffing going back to carrying Calypso in silence.

"Hey changing the subject why is the field so messed up. I thought this place was suppose to be pretty with monsters napping on the floor," Leo spoke. "It was but I think the monsters along with that Purple worm may have destroyed most of this place. Maybe if they didn't get to far in that will look breath taking.
Hey that looks familiar". Leo jogged up to whatever it was that I found on the floor. When he turned around he was holding up a sword. "What's so important about that sword?" Annabeth questioned. Ignoring her to check my watch no other sins besides the ones we have found popped up. "We need to get to the others quickly to discuss this. That sword is important because it belongs to my girlfriend Lust."

"What do you mean girlfriend. You never said anything about Lust," my girlfriends interrogated me. "Once a year our sins take over for about a month or so. My sin Wrath dates Lust in her sin form. Myself and Lust don't date or sleep together any other time besides when they take over." The girls just huffed in response to the new information they learned. "Why are you so worried maybe she dropped it or something," Leo said. I shook my head no," She loves that sword she's had since she was a demigod. She wouldn't leave it or let anyone borrow it." "So she's a demigod to?" Annabeth inquired. "We all used to be demigods. Now we are immortal." "Maybe she close by," Leo added in. "I checked the locater map. She's nowhere near here." I heard a huff next to me," Let's drop the subject for now we need to get to the others I'm not feeling to good right now."

Everyone stopped so we could check on Thalia. Her eyes were flickering to her natural blue. "We might need to stop soon your sin forms are draining your energy to much. If we don't set up camp you might pass out and we can't have that." Annabeth looked me in the eyes," How much further do we have?" Checking the watch again the map said we had a mile and a half left. "To far for you guys." Leo awkwardly raised his hand," Why is it only Thalia?" "She's been carrying Calypso that takes even more energy. I would assume next it will be Cal since she's still weak. Then you and Annabeth." Annabeth took out the tent from Thalia's bag without a second thought to set it up. "We rest for the night. We'll meet up tomorrow with the others." We all nodded at her before making our way into the tent.

Everyone got settled for the night showering before dinner. Once they all came down I gave each of them a shot of nectar. "This should help you recover by tomorrow morning. Calypso I'm gonna give you another one in the morning maybe you'll be able to walk on your own then." She gave me a peck on the cheek along with a thank you. Summoning dinner everyone dug super hungry from the huge amount of energy loss today. We cleaned up before bed without saying anything to each other getting tested for the next day.
