"Why don't you mind your own business." She said and walked past him but stopped a few steps behind him.

"And carrying your weapon around is carrying around is threatening. If you want to appear dangerous, you put it away."

His grin widened. 'Keep talking Nelliel... soon enough you won't get to talk to me like that!' He thought to himself.

She took a few steps farther before a sudden explosion through the wall filled the silence. Nelliel jumped aside, her eyes glued on the wall that had just exploded. As the smoke cleared up, she became horrified. Right there were both Pesche and Dondochakka, their masks almost completely ripped off their faces, groaning in pain...

"Master Nel... we're so sorry... we failed you..." Pesche struggled to say, clearly in pain.

Nelilliel was taken aback in horror, her eyes now on Nnoitra's back.

"You... you did this... You're horrible!"

"Yeah, I did. So what? They were weak anyways." He turned his head to the side, still grinning. He swung his blade at Nelliel, who blocked the attack with her sword. He looked down her.

"At least now I've given you a reason to fight me, right?"

"No... This is not a reason to fight!" She swung her blade with a lot more force. Nnoitra jumped back, clearly displeased.

"Are you fucking serious?!"

"But you've done wrong. You hurt two people I care about and you will pay for that!" She lunged at him. He was barely able to block it and he realized he was on the defensive. She swung her blade at him again and he found himself cornered against the wall as he tried to deflect her attacks. She raised her foot to give him a powerful kick and he flew through the wall, falling down unto the sandy grounds.

He got up and felt Nelliel's cold stare on him. Just in time, he saw Nelliel lunged down at him and he was able to dodge. She lunged her sword at her again and again, with him barely being able to keep up. She was really fast but he knew he was close to defeating her. He was a little scared, but no.

He would do it.

'I hate her!' he reminded himself before flashing her an even wider grin. He would do it.

He jumped over her to land behind her. His feet barely hit the ground before Nelliel had already face him.

"Too slow!" She said and swung her sword at him. Her blade had barely even touched him and he turned to smoke and vanished. Startled and confused, Nelliel's eyes went wide in realization Nnoitra had somehow vanished.

A quick silver line, a clink of metal, followed by a red line appeared as Nelliel's skull mask cracked open and she fell to her knees, then unto the hard ground.

Nnoitra quickly turned to see her motionlessly on the floor. He did it. And she was not dead. He hit hard enough to injure her seriously but not deep enough to kill her. This was just right. He felt his arm slightly shaking.

He stared at her unconscious body at little longer before kneeling down to check her pulse just to make sure. Her hand was still warm and soft as it had always been... hell no! He dropped her hand out of his. He wouldn't get all sentimental because of that bitch!

He placed her body along with her stupid fraccion and went to the outer roof of Las Noches.

"You would probably tell me I'm some senseless beast, wouldn't ya?! As if I give a shit what you think.  Battle is all about winning, it doesn't need some stupid reason... Fighting isn't logical and never has been... You've always been looking rationality and now paid the price. You make me sick!" He spatted out as he looked at her unconscious head. Stupid bitch.

His thoughts of hatred towards were interrupted as he heard footsteps coming closer, revealing Szayel Apporro Gantz.

"What do you want? I don't need you here anymore." He snapped at the pink-haired scientist.

"Why the sudden cold shoulder? I thought we were allies, trying to achieve the same goal. Can I at least witness the outcome of this spectacle?"

"I don't remember ever joining forces with you. I took advantage of you and that's it."

"You wished to defeat Nelliel Tu Oderschwank and I wished to witness the outcome of my device. Thus, our partnership was established. Cooperation is made when both parties benefit from it.." He adjusted his glasses.

"So much philosophy. Makes me wanna puke." He spat out disgusted as he dropped Nelliel along with her fraccion's body from the roof. He intensely watched as they fell unto the sands with a soft thud.

"Nelliel... before your wound can even heal, I will have surpassed you! You won't have the chance to get even close to me!" He thought as he stared down at her.

"Let's move." He barked at Szayel, ready to leave.

"I don't believe you can give me orders."

"Shut up, you're not even an espada anymore. " Nnoitra snapped at him again. He only too a few steps past him when he felt Nelliel's reiatsu emerging from her. He ran back to see what happened only to find her reiatsu shrinking along with her body until she looked just like... a little girl.

"She... she turned into a kid??"

"Spectacular. I've never seen such phenomenon before. Her reiatsu is escaping the crack in her mask , causing her whole self to shrink..."

"Who gives a shit what's happening!" He bursted out in laughter. "Look at you Nelliel! Look at how pathetic you are now! That body just suits you perfectly!" His laughter echoes through the night.

After all these years of being treated like shit by her, not gaining her acknowledge he could finally see her being the pathetic one! A satisfying sight as his grin went wider.

"But then again, our blades would never cross again. That's the only bad thing about this." He said, turning away. He didn't even bother looking back anymore.

'I hate you, Nelliel'.It was all over.

Nelliel was over.
